When Westfield extended its Hamilton Shopping centre at Chartwell, it added an eight-theatre multiplex. SKYCITY, as operator and tenant, engaged Amstar Interiors to create the fit-out for this multiplex. Despite a demanding deadline and structural delays, the complex opened in May 2007.

It was a challenging project for Amstar Project Manager Graham Browns due to its out-of-town location, which means some trades had to commute, plus there was as overheated Hamilton subcontractor market to content with.
