Rialto

Walker Architects designed the newly expanded and refurbished Village Rialto Cinemas in Newmarket, Auckland, with the fitout carried out by Amstar. The aim was to create a warm and inviting environment with wood paneling and soft seating to give the décor a familiar home-like feel where patrons would want to linger.

The project involved the refurbishment of the existing theatres and including the new theatres as well as the entrance, concession areas and the bar and café.
