Pakuranga Technology Block

Amstar Interiors worked with Adams De La Mare Architects on the Pakuranga College Technology Block to unify the faculty and introduce new lecture spaces.

Features of the new fitout include double glazing on classroom windows near the street to cut down noise; the new additions are clad in grey metal to accentuate the constrast with the existing white timber weatherboards; a corridor running the length of the block's interior was introduced to link previously unconnected classrooms; and finishes and detailing were chosen to visually draw the old and new interiors together.
