The Church buildings stand out high on the Redoubt Hill looking over Manukau City it has pride of place.
Amongst the many challenges first on the list was installation of infrastructure. The land purchased by the Church had been green non serviced Land. It was also built adjacent to the historic Manukau Redoubt site. Amstar worked with the various parties including the ARC and historic archaeologists to ensure we met all statutory demands whilst we undertook the infrastructure works. In doing so we meet all resource consent requirements.
Stage 1 as pictured was completed on time and provides the main meeting house and learning centre. Stage 2, The Missionary Training Centre provides accommodation for the trainees in a fully catered live in facility.
Both consultants and contractor worked as one team. The final result is a modern and meets all best quality standards.
